I had panic attacks after being subjected to repeated antisocial behaviour and became very anxious about interacting with others. My understanding GP listened carefully, prescribed appropriate medication and the practice mental health nurse referred me to Move Ahead services. Their support nurse Jamie listened to my concerns, was consistently kind and understanding, and supported me over many weeks to gradually become more confident, attend a very helpful anxiety workshop, join a weekly walking group and receive counselling. I am now much less anxious, reducing my meds and still walking. Thank you so much Jamie, Dr Hom and Yna.
