Stayed for a short week end in the area but fell ill on 29th September and admitted via ambulance to A & E department. I was very satisfied with the service received and the care and consideration given by the staff working that morning. Their approach was professional and tests were quick with clear responses given to me regarding the results. I was looked after and listened to and feel that all staff on duty that morning should be commended for being efficient, caring and professional in their approach. I would also like to add that the ambulance crew also from Silverdale caravan site to the Lancaster Hospital (Kathy +1) were both re-assuring and caring - both were also professional in their approach. Furthermore, my GP received an account of my admittance to the Royal Lancaster a few days after the event which of course showed that good communication procedures were also in place in informing those who needed to know the results of my admittance to A&E that day. Keep up the good work. Diolch yn fawr iawn - thank you very much.
