"Exemplary care and understanding"

My child has had a cold which has developed into a bad chesty but non productive cough over the past 2 days. Rang Drumragh family practice at 8.30 this morning, spoke with the receptionist Edel/ Adele, lovely girl who took all the relevant details and told me the doctor would ring me back. Within 10 mins Dr Arkinson rang me and asked me to bring my son in. A short wait which the doctor apologised for, no need as I was glad to be seen. Dr Arkinson immediately put us both at ease, asked the right questions in the right way, I explained the situation, Dr Arkinson was understanding and comforting, friendly and accommodating, and we left with all the required medication to hopefully sort the chest infection out. As Dr Atkinson said his barking cough sounds like it’s coming out of a man’s body not my 7 year old son’s small, fine body! Delighted with the care and attention we got, and the doctors good attitude and friendliness shone through the whole appointment, brilliant skills and demeanour, thanks so much
