"A wonderful and essential service"

About: Lurgan Hospital / Rapid Access Clinic

(as a carer),

My Aunt was in the rapid access clinic today a full MOT.  Each and every member of staff was caring, friendly, patient and understanding.

My Aunt indeed got her full MOT and was assessed by nurses, a physio, an OT and Doctor. She had blood tests, x-rays and a heart trace.  She left with a written plan of what each staff member was going to do following her appointment as well as relevant booklets in an easy to follow format.

We have spent some time struggling to be heard by her GP and as a family, we are so relieved that not only was heard but actions are in place to make life easier for her.

Thank you for being such a wonderful and essential service and for hearing us. ❤️

Hi nuthatchsc66,

Many thanks for taking the time to leave such positive feedback.

I agree that the Rapid Access Clinic is a wonderful and holistic one stop shop for our elderly population. I'm reassured that your aunt was able to avail of the service.

I will be sure to share this feedback and I wish you and your aunt well.

Many thanks,

Yvonne
