"Top quality care and understanding"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Elderly medicine

(as a relative),

I would like to praise & thank all of the staff in Ward A32. My mother was a patient in this ward for just under 5 weeks. The staff were so caring, helpful, kind and hard working. My mother was treated with such dignity and l cannot thank them enough for making her last days with us so comfortable and pain free. Sheona has been such a support both during Mum’s stay and since. Invaluable.

Senior Staff Nurse Fiona, Jayne, Veronica, Tracy, Carla, Rachel, Arlene and many more I wish I knew by name, not forgetting Eunice & Joe. Dr James was helpful & kept us informed all the way. He’ll make an excellent Consultant.

I wanted to let you know how much this ward has given top quality care and understanding to the old and frail in their care. Thank you so very much.

Dear Suse736, thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback to the team.I would like to offer my condolences at this sad time for you and your family. I am grateful that we had the privilege to care for your mum and that this was at a high standard which allowed you and your family to optimise the time with your mum. This time is never easy for anyone but I am heartened to hear of the comfort and support you have also received from the team.

I will be sure to feed this back to the team directly

Your Sincerely

Dr David Watson

Chief of Nursing, Acute Services

NHS Forth Valley.
