My husband recently spent 8 days in ward 7. The care and support he was given were first class. Nurses, nursing assistants, catering and cleaning staff were all very professional, caring and helpful.
Dr Rankin, the consultant, and the renal SHO, Connor, were excellent. Everything was explained very clearly without being patronising. Questions were welcome and clearly answered.
The joined up working was also excellent with liaison with physiotherapy, social work, dietitian, occupational therapist and GP practice during his stay in the ward.
We have returned home feeling safer and in a much stronger position to face the future. Well done ward 7 and well done NHS Scotland.
