"Pain in upper left arm"

About: Physiotherapy - South Ayrshire

(as the patient),

Symptoms appeared about a month ago and became unbearable after two weeks.  Made appointment to visit GP Practice physiotherapist Adam.  During the two weeks before I saw Adam, I did my best to keep my arm moving but was unsure whether to do this or rest. After visit to Adam, the problem was identified as being caused by nerves in the neck due to prolonged position of neck in day to day situations.  I was shown how exercises could improve my symptoms and I have already noticed a slight improvement.

Dear Mayro

Thank you so much for taking the time to share feedback on your healthcare experience.

I am sorry to hear that you were suffering with a painful upper arm and it is heartening to hear that Adam, your Physiotherapist, has been able to provide you with such person centred care. I really do hope that the exercises advised by Adam will help get you on track to full recovery and the ability to get around pain free again.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and it will be my pleasure to ensure your lovely comments are shared with Adam.

Please accept my best wishes for your ongoing recovery and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.

Kind Regards

Pamela
