I was taken to barnsley hospital by ambulance, as an emergency. The treatment I received from the paramedics through to the A&E nurses and doctors, through to the consultant then onto the nurses on the ward, was altogether excellent. Every member of staff I encountered was excellent.
I was very suprised to find that on the monday morning following my admission, no clean towels or bed linen was available, and that patients did not have an early morning drink because the trolley was broken and could not be repaired until after 8:30am on monday morning.
