"Post-menopausal clinic"

About: Gynaecology / Gynaecology Outpatients

(as a service user),

Obviously a bit tentative as I knew it would be an invasive procedure.  No need to worry. Sonya and Ellie are so professional and put me instantly at ease. I actually had a very positive experience,  every step was explained in advance so no unpleasant surprises.  Bring your sense of humour if you can and the whole event will be over in no time. Without giving away the results of my examination,  know that findings will be explained to you before being forwarded to the appropriate person.

Thank you Sonya and Ellie.

Dear Catbat 63

Thank you for sharing your experience of the postmenopausal bleeding clinic with Perth Royal Infirmary to provide reassurance to other women who may require to attend the service.

I am really warmed to hear how you were put at eased, communicated with in advance of any intervention (as it should be) and how effective appropriate use of humour was to support you during your appointment. I hope the next stage of your journey is equally as positive.

I will pass your feedback on to Sonya and Ellie.

Best wishes.

Daisy
