"Amazing Care"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / 23 Hour Unit ( Ward 1A)

(as a parent/guardian),

Our recent visit to Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow was made all the better with the amazing care given in the ward 1AB. Our son was attending for a scan under general anaesthetic. The care provided, especially by HCSW Chris, was just amazing. Our son is very scared of hospitals due to past experiences but he made the whole experience fun. He went above and beyond and this made the experience so much more relaxing this time around. He is a credit to the ward, he has such a caring and kind nature and will put anyone’s mind at ease. Thank you again! Everyone who works with children needs to be a bit more like Chris

Dear MeganD22

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such lovely feedback regarding your experience of attending Ward 1A of the Royal Hospital for Children with your son.

I can fully understand your son's trepidation prior to attending his appointment in the Unit. Hospitals can be a daunting place at the best of times so to hear he felt at ease and welcomed into the Unit this time round was very encouraging after his previous bad experiences.

I will be sure to pass on your thanks to the team who I'm sure will be touched to receive such glowing feedback about their service.

Kind regards

Kevin
