I have worked in the NHS for 40 years supplying equipment and have seen many aspects of it. Having found high PSA levels I was accelerated into a special programme within weeks and am today on my 10th visit of 37.
Treatment here has been fantastic. Staff are all very pleasant, friendly and helpful.
People do a marvellous job with, I suspect, fewer resources and less money and I could not criticise anything at all. Having worked in the hospital for many years I am probably more tolerant than most about how things work.
I live in Perth and found that coming to Ninewells in Dundee by public transport was very difficult and time-consuming. However, using the car also has its problems. Car parking is always a huge issue - finding a space is slightly easier if you come early in the morning.
