"Fire risk of a 4 wheeled walker."

About: Independent Living Centre

(as a service user),

I have been storing it for several years in the same communal chute room, and they now say it's a fire hazard. It wasn't in anybody's way, just tucked in a corner

Dear Beaname114

Thank you for leaving a comment about your 4-wheeled walker.

I am unsure why it would be considered a fire hazard as it is not an electrical-type of mobility aid. Unless they are trying to clear space in your communal chute room? Is the walker in use or just stored away?

Please can you telephone us at the Independent Living Centre on 01392-380181 so we can ask you more questions and see if we can give you helpful advice and information.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,

Mia
