I am in my 70's and have had problems with my left leg and knee for the past year, I cannot walk more than 100 yards without being in very bad pain, my knee was x-rayed and I was told that it had wear and tear and had osteo arthritis (constant Clicking ).I get pain at the top of my leg (groin area) and near hip also, all they recommending is Physiotherapy which does not do anything but make it worse.
I need to see a doctor to determine if it is the hip joint, as a local doctor said I might need one (this was over thirty years ago). I am not given any options except for physiotherapy and I feel fobbed off every time by saying that a decision is made by several consultants, I don't believe a word of this.
What can I do to see a doctor, as I won't put up with this for much longer
I feel very bitter about this
