"No regards for struggling patients"

About: Community Services / Bedfordshire Recovery Team

(as the patient),

Called talking therapies for help initially, as I would require therapy again, and was referred here instead of getting help.

They said they can’t help me and therapy is not their job, and pointed out an appointment that has nothing to do with getting therapy to manage my mental health.

Being passed around from referral to referral like I’m a toy, no real empathy at all from the person behind the line, the member of staff throwing the blame on me for not getting the services I needed.

Don’t mind me, I’ll just fall apart mentally while medical professionals pass me around from one another ❤️✨

Hey there. So sorry to hear that you are not getting what you need and feel you are being passed around. There isn't enough information in your post for me to know how best to get things moving in the right direction for you. So, could you email: elft.communications@nhs.net and put FAO JF in the email field. A colleague will then forward it to me and we will have contact to communicate properly. Hopefully, we can find a way forward. If you have already resolved the issue and are now settled with a service/health professional, then ignore this message. The important thing is for you to be supported appropriately. Best wishes
