"I felt in very safe hands"

About: Perth Royal Infirmary / Gynaecology Perth Royal Infirmary / Radiology (X-rays and Scans)

(as a service user),

I had an appointment with Sonya for ultrasound scan following post menopausal bleed.

Both she and her assistant Kerry were kind and reassuring, even when when things went a bit wrong.

I felt in very safe hands with all of the staff that I had contact with and was only allowed home after they were sure that all was well.

Although the news was as I had feared, they were very positive that there would be a good outcome.

Dear earthxe67

I am very touched that you have taken the time to share your experience of the Post Menopausal Bleeding service, Perth Royal Infirmary despite what sounds as though it was a difficult appointment for you. I am very hopeful that there will be a good outcome for you and that the onward journey of care for you is equally as positive as your experience with Sonya and Kerry. Please be assured I will pass your feedback on.

Positive thoughts for the next part of your journey.

Daisy
