About: Causeway Hospital / Accident & Emergency Causeway Hospital / Childrens Ward

(as a parent/guardian),

My 17 month old baby started taking seizures and I brought him to hospital. The staff in A&E and the Children’s ward were absolutely amazing with him and went out of their way to ensure we were both very well cared for.

My son was seen promptly by medical & nursing staff. They were professional in their approach and made sure I was kept updated and involved in aspects of his care.

I cannot thank you all enough especially Kingsley (Doctor) and Clare (night duty nurse) everyone was fantastic.

I am the lead nurse with responsibility for the children's ward in Causeway Hospital.

I am delighted to hear that your experience of care in both ED and the ward was so positive especially that you were kept informed in what can be a very anxious time.
