Dear Patient,

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments and concerns about your experience recently at North Manchester General Hospital. We are pleased to read of your kind comments regarding the efficient manner that the Consultant provided to you when you were seen, this is the standard of care we strive to achieve on a daily basis.

We are however sorry to hear of the long wait you experienced while waiting to see the Consultant and appreciate how frustrating this would have been for you. We acknowledge that during the periods of industrial action despite having plans in place to ensure services experienced minimal disruption there were occasions that patients did wait a little longer to be seen than what would be the norm. Following each period of industrial action, the team review the impact of the action on the running of the hospital, and the learning from this is can then be used to be make improvements on reflected in future plans.

We take all issues surrounding patient care very seriously. Thank you for taking time to post your comments.
