"Decider Skills"

About: Fife Community Services / Community Mental Health

(as a service user),

The staff at decider skills were lovely and overall the course was really good but I thought that the course was too much sitting and listening for the few hours a week and needed more activity as my mind wandered probably the type of learner I am. For me the seating plan was a big obstacle I felt very exposed in the group which made me feel a bit anxious perhaps if they had a table to sit behind it might have helped.

Good Morning and thank you so much for taking the time to post some feedback about our Decider Skills Group. Your feedback is essential and I will pass this on to the team who will be able to look at ways to incorporate the points you make into improving the course for other attendees in the future. I do really hope that you have benefited from the course and that the skills you have learned will prove to be very useful in your ongoing recovery. Best Wishes.

Dear KDYuser25

Thank you very much for taking the time to post your feedback about your recent experience of the Decider Skills course. We really appreciate hearing that you found staff lovely; it is so important that staff are welcoming, kind and supportive. We are sorry to hear that there were things that could have been better for you. It's really important that people help us understand what could be better, so thank you very much for sharing that with us so that we can review how the course is delivered and ensure this takes account of different learning preferences as you say, and think about the preferences of participants in terms of seating arrangements. We really appreciate your thoughtful suggestions about how this could have been better for you and will think about how we can apply this for the benefit of others going forward. We wish you the very best for the future, and thank you again for taking the time to let us know what was good and what could be better.

Best wishes

Deon
