I attended Downe Hospital in Downpatrick today as an outpatient to review the cataract surgery I had had recently. I attended with my husband and guide dog and we were seen by a nurse (Deirdre) and Optomitrist (Maura) and I just wanted to commend them on their interactions. They were respectful of me and my guide dog and were aware of the need not to interact with her as she was working. They took the time to check what help I needed them to provide and were very good at describing what was going on and eg who had entered or left the room. It was very much appreciated. Thank you.
