"The team were great and gave me a lot of support"

I had my second child in Dumfries Hospital. The midwife team there were amazing and very professional. They supported me through my birthing journey that was quiet long. I did have to check in over the course of 2 days as the early stages of labour were taking time to progress, but the team were great and gave me a lot of support when I needed it.

Once my labour did progress, Wren and Shannon were my labour team and they both were amazing and helped me with the labour. I was quite set on having VBac for my second child and they where with me all the way and gave me every opportunity to succeed. Although the labour was long and I almost needed to he taken in for surgical intervention, with the help of the medical team, Wren and Shannon I was able to have the delivery I wanted.

The recovery and support after the birth was just as great. The team made me and my husband feel very comfortable and the support with my daughter was great. We needed some help with latching and again the team were there and very helpful. Over all I am very happy with my experience.
