"Poor delivery and communication"

When I first started out with Sheffield Talking Therapies, I found it very helpful. The first session went very well but following this, I found its helpfulness quickly diminished. I was given 30 mins per session and, following the first session, at least half of the subsequent 2 sessions I had just involved being retold the same information as previously.

Due to sessions only being available during normal working hours (Mon-Fri; 9-5), sometimes I had to request rearranging my sessions due to work commitments. Despite giving at least 48 hours notice each time, these were still apparently counted as "Did not attend", which I was informed meant that I fell foul of their Did Not Attend policy. I am assuming that I have been discharged following my last cancellation (again with 48+ hours notice). I am assuming this as I was not given any notification of my discharge, despite being told that my therapist would be in touch. I would have appreciated being informed of discharge, even if it was only via text, as opposed to waiting for communication that never came.

The service appears to be cold and discompassionate, and not respective of the fact that people receiving the service need to work too. Honestly, I feel I would have been better off having the materials just emailed to me for me to work through myself, as the talking therapy aspect was incredibly limited in its value following the initial session.
