"Waiting time keeps getting longer"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was referred for an appointment in mid 2023 and got X-rays on both knees 2 months earlier. This was after I had a fall. I have fluid in both knees and a tear and cyst in right knee as well as wear in tear in both knees.

I keep phoning referrals and waiting time keeps getting longer, firstly I was told 32 weeks then told a further 12 weeks = 44 weeks then told a further 4 weeks = 48 weeks and now told a further 7 weeks which will now be a total of 55 weeks waiting.
