"She went an above and beyond"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Elderly Medicine (12, 14, 18, 23, 29, 30, 32, 33,35 ,39 & 53)

(as a relative),

My mum was recently admitted to ward 53b at the GRI following symptoms of a stroke. We can’t speak highly enough of her consultant, Dr McAlpine. She went an above and beyond, she made sure my mum was well informed and we can’t thank her enough. Her secretary was also lovely and was a huge help through a stressful time. It’s lovely to see someone truly advocating on behalf of their patient as if it were their own family. Thank you Dr McAlpine!
