I have been coming here for about a month and am roughly half way through my treatment.
I think everybody is super friendly and nice - they try to put you at ease. The system works well - only problem has been myself - If I have not drunk enough - I am not a good patient. I did not tell my wife about my diagnosis for a
long time. I was super scared and it was so good to see a friendly face when I came to Radiotherapy to start my treatment. I had known Bob for years and it was a real help having him here to help me through it all. I often sat in the waiting room and didn’t want to go in for the treatment. Therapists Megan and Fiona have been great and made things easier for me.
I know car parking is a problem for lots of folk, but fortunately I don’t have to worry about that - my Dad drops me off and picks me up.
The only improvement I can think of would be to have secure patient wi-fi in the hospital which I know is a big ask, but would mean that people could work if they wanted to whilst they were waiting for their treatment.
