"Kindness and compassion"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Acute assessment unit Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Elderly medicine NHS Forth Valley

(as a relative),

My mother in law was a patient in both Acute Medical receiving and Ward A32 in the final week of her life. Thank you to all staff for keeping her comfortable and for the compassion shown to us as a family after she died.

Both wards looked incredibly busy and heavy and the staff do an amazing job looking after an ageing population with inevitable illnesses and diseases. Despite how busy they were, staff attended to my mother in law regularly and respected her spiritual needs. Thank you very much.

Firstly, we are sorry for the loss of your loved one and we are sending our best wishes to you and your family. Thank you so much for this lovely feedback. I have shared your feedback with the team in ward A32 and they really appreciate these positive comments and it has really meant a lot to them to hear this.
