My dad recently attended A&E following a consultant with his amazing GP where they noticed some concerning signs.
His treatment in A&E was outstanding and although he received some devastating news, junior doctor Stewart shared this news with such compassion and kindness. He then had a short stay in ARU 2 where staff were great and supportive.
He was then admitted to ward 8C. The care within this ward was second to none. Everyone had a smile on their face and was kind and caring.
A special shout out to doctor Beth who also delivered news both good and bad and was able to have a laugh and a giggle with my dad throughout this time.
We cannot thank you all enough for the amazing care and compassion shown. True heroes providing support to those who are going through some of the worst days.
A long road ahead which has been made significantly easier by the way in which we have already been supported as a family. Thank you!!
"Outstanding care and support"
