"Efficient, professional service with a smile"

I recently attended the Prosthesis Clinic at Breast Imaging Unit, Ninewells. With a history of breast cancer I had a mastectomy and wear a prosthesis. Unfortunately mine's got damaged and I required a new one.

I telephoned the breast care team who were very efficient and called back the same day and I had an appointment booked in for a weeks time, fantastic.

I was welcomed into the department by Fenella, with a big smile and she made me feel instantly calm, safe and comfortable.

We discussed about different styles of prothesis, I didn’t realise there was so many! I tried on different styles, my privacy and dignity was respected at all times. Fenella shared her extensive experience and current knowledge which really aided my decision making. I am very happy with this professional and efficient patient centred service. 

I felt very empowered leaving the department. Thank you Fenella.
