"I felt very well looked after."

About: Community Services - North Devon / Bladder & Bowel Care Sidmouth Community Hospital / Outpatients

(as a service user),

I went to the Sidmouth Bladder & Bowel Adult Clinic at Sidmouth Hospital recently.

I was welcomed very nicely by Jade, the nurse. She spoke at a sensible speed so I could understand all the questions, and she explained everything as we went along.

She offered me the option of a chaperone but I said no because I feel that when you've got a female member of staff you're safe. Jade carried out two examinations for me.

She gave me advice as to what I can do to improve my situation. And she organised some pull-up night-wear which would come free of charge from the NHS, delivered every three months.

I felt very well looked after.
