"Replacement eye lense operation"

Travelled over 50 miles, on time, had BP etc done. Two nurses completed two forms, but many times asked me the same questions!

Consultant checked my eye, then told me that they didn’t have the lense for my eye. No idea what happened, had apparently been ordered, but not arrived or no one could find it.

First error, second was it should have been checked at least a day or two before that had arrived to ensure I didn't travel unnecessary.

Now everyone was going to be sitting around so consultant wanted to do a bit of the op, (which could be done at same time as lense replacement), but would help them if did it then. Said no, not going through the procedure twice. Left hospital, had travelled for nearly 6 hours.

Absolutely devastated by the incompetence and inefficiency, crying, depressed, destroyed
