Myra from the Social Work Department of South Lanarkshire Council co-ordinated help for my husband, who has vascular dementia and has mobility issues, leaving him effectively housebound. She arranged visits from a physiotherapist and occupational therapist who worked tirelessly and encouragingly to improve his mobility. They recommended a ramp at the entrance to the house and Myra sorted that out for us, promptly. This will allow him a new lease of life, as I can now wheel him out in his wheelchair.
I can't speak highly enough about Myra and how understanding and helpful she has been and the therapists have also been a great help.
