"Excellent care"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit Antrim Area Hospital / MRI Unit

(as the patient),

I recently had to attend the Minor Injuries Unit in AAH with a foot injury.  I was seen quickly by Dr Sathi and Dr Erksine, nurses Anna and Briege, and X-ray radiographer Aidan.  They were all kind, thorough and professional.

I was pleased that the necessary MRI scan was able to be done within a few days - and radiographers Joanne and Leanne were very reassuring on that occasion.  Dr Erskine then contacted me soon afterwards with the scan result to ensure all necessary treatment could be given.

I feel very grateful to have been cared for by such a brilliant team.  At a time when health services are under such pressure, it's clear that the calibre of staff and the empathy they show is a real strength of this hospital.

Thank you!
