Over the past few years, sadly I have had to use the NHS/Treliske/Derriford several times.
It all started with heart problems, resulting in a pacemaker being fitted. Then a traumatic cancer diagnosis, two ops at Derriford, 30 sessions of radiotherapy at Sunrise Centre, then to cap it all an eye problem found at my diabetic screening, resulting in further choices at Helston/Treliske. Happily no treatment was required, further checks in 3 months.
During all this treatment my care has been brilliant allowing me to stay positive, all staff have been caring and my dignity was upheld.
The Eye Clinic dept were very exemplary in the way I was treated, from my arrival to the time I left.
