My father attended the ED department in Craigavon hospital with chest pain. Following assessment he was diagnosed with a repeat injury to chest muscles following a previous fall.
The doctor took the time to carefully explain the cause and the immediate treatment should this recur. This greatly reassured my father who often has anxiety about his health.
He could easily have been dismissed as over anxious but the time was taken to give him the reassurance he needed.
