"Excellent service"

After an 18hr painful ambulance, wait my reception, management & care was the best I have received in many hospital emergencies. Despite great pressure I was examined x-rayed & offered pain relief promptly. I was informed of the surgery plan to be added to the orthopaedic list in the afternoon. The extreme challenges in A/E gave me an insight into the management of the department whilst awaiting a ward bed & surgery. It was a privilege to observe the efficient, competent & cheerful cooperation of the staff. It was a pleasure to see the wonderful multicultural inter reactions of each other, they all found a few moments to greet and reassure me. Many thanks to A/E staff & orthopaedic team. We appreciated,help,tea & the good humour from volunteers.
