"75 year old left to suffer"

My elderly mother had an x-ray here for a suspected spinal fracture as all the other hospitals could not fit her in for weeks. She was then told to wait 6 weeks plus for the results which she still hasn't received so I am having to chase this up. Just frame that for a second - a 75 year old pensioner with a suspected spinal fracture being left for a month and a half plus just to find out the results of her x-ray. These are the appalling standards of healthcare and service offered to our most vulnerable in society who deserve better and it is now our duty to push back against the N H S.
