"I feel privileged to have such caring staff around me"

About: Outpatients Department / Complementary Therapy

(as a service user),

I have attend St Andrews Hospice outpatient department for some time now and think it’s important to tell others about the service

The staff within the department are kind, understanding and professional

The group of people that I have come to know are a second family to me

I enjoy each visit, I look forward to my complimentary therapy which always leaves me feeling pain free and the therapist makes me feel so special and I feel pampered too

I enjoy our chats, exercise and tai chi, not forgetting our arts and crafts and bingo days. The staff are always there to help or talk when I need help and advice

Thank you St Andrews for all you do, you are indeed a very special group of people,  I feel privileged to have such caring staff around me, my journey so far is special because of you.

Dear Costalot01,

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a little about your journey and the time that you have spent in our Out Patient Department. It is so important to hear from you about the kindness and professionalism of our staff and how helpful you find complimentary therapy and other activities. It is nice to know that you feel special and that your pain and wellbeing are improved by the support that you receive,

By taking the time to write about your experience, you have given me the opportunity to feed back to staff and to achieve our aim to provide the highest standards that we can and to continuously improve,

Thank you so much,

Kindest regards,

Margaret
