About: Downe Community Services / Children and Young People’s Speech and Language Therapy Service

(as a parent/guardian),

Speech and language therapist Davinda met our daughter who has communication delay earlier this year. 

During the appointment she was so good with our daughter and spent a lot of time getting the full picture of what was going on. We felt so listened to and supported.

Since then, Davinda, despite being incredibly busy, has truly went above and beyond keeping in touch with us, keeping us updated and giving us numerous resources and recommendations for our journey ahead.

We are incredible grateful Davinda, thank you so very much.

My name is Kate Stafford, and I am the service lead for Davinda's team; Children and Young People's speech and language therapy in community clinics.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give this lovely compliment to Davinda on Care Opinion. I am so pleased that her hard work and excellent support has been recognized in this way, and that you and your daughter had such a positive experience of the service. I have passed this on to Davinda and she is just delighted!

We strive to provide the highest quality service to our children and young people, and their parents and guardians are an integral part of the support their children can receive. So it is so encouraging to know that you feel listened to, supported and fully involved in your daughter's speech and language journey.
