"Excellent Service"

About: Northwick Park Hospital

Had to visit A&E for a leg issue. You are triaged at the entrance by a nurse who sends you to the right team. Within minutes I was taken to ambulatory care for tests. There it was a pleasant waiting room with a tv. Staff friendly. There was a good flow of people being seen. Had my blood tests and within 90 mins all the results were available, saw a nurse and was discharged. Whole process took 2.75 hours. You have to expect to wait if your going to AE.

NWP has a bad reputation generally but the care received by A&E and AC was very good. I would use it again. It has changed so much from when I was there a few years ago with elderly parents. Great progress and keep up the good work!

Dear Service User,

Thank you for leaving your review about A&E and Ambulatory Care at Northwick Park Hospital. It is always nice to read where things go well and when patients do not have to wait long for treatment.

I have made sure to share the feedback with the teams and so you kind words will be shared that way. I am sure they will be pleased to read that you also noted changes and improvements from your previous visit.

I do hope your leg is recovering and you are keeping well.

Many thanks and Best Wishes,

Leanne Fernandes
