"Any need was attended to with care and compassion"

About: Causeway Hospital / Surgical 2

(as a relative),

My dad had a planned admission for surgery in early June then an emergency readmission 2 days after discharge.

The staff on surgical ward 2 were lovely and caring. Everyone had a friendly ‘hello’ which makes a world of difference when leaving your loved one in the care of others at the most vulnerable times in their life.

My dad didn’t have anything bad to say about his care there and any need was attended to with care and compassion

Good Afternoon JMc24

My name is Deborah Dyson I am the ward SR in Surgical 2

Thankyou for taking the time to share your Dads experience whilst on our ward.

I am delighted to read that the staff were friendly loving and caring. It is important to all the staff that patients and families feel safe and cared for when in hospital as this can be a very daunting time.

I will pass on your dads experience whilst on Surgical 2 to my whole team whom I know will be delighted.

I wish your dad well in his recovery and thankyou again for your feedback

Debbie
