"They really put care first"

About: Victoria Hospital / Admissions Unit 2 (Emergency Surgical) Victoria Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I was in admissions 2, then transferred to ward 52 for gallbladder surgery.

All of the staff were amazing, really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Although it is never great to be in hospital they all tried their best to have a laugh, have  great conversation and really put care first.

This must have been such a worrying time for you and your family. I hope you are feeling better and recovering well. It is lovely to hear that staff made your experience that little bit better by being welcoming, friendly and caring. Its nice that they have tried to cheer you up and were trying to have a laugh, humour can be great medicine!
