About: Sutterton Surgery

I have been with Sutterton Surgery for over 20 years, during this time I have received excellent service until recently. Since the take over in March 2024 the service has gone from being excellent to becoming mediocre. When I rang at 8.15am this month to be second in the queue, I was told there were no appointments left for the entire day whether face to face or telephone. When I explained that the reason why I was ringing was due to difficulty breathing due to what I thought was a chest infection I was told they couldn’t see me today even though I have asthma. I had to result to going to UTC at Pilgrim hospital who confirmed I did indeed have a chest infection and they prescribed antibiotics and steroids. I felt I didn’t need this service and it was a waste of resources when this is a primary care illness. Now before the take over the doctors, nurses and receptionists would try every avenue to try and either see you or speak to you over the phone. In my opinion the service is getting worse. From what was in my opinion the best GP surgery in the surrounding area is slowly becoming like ‘most’ surgeries around Boston. What is happening?!?

Dear Patient

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. If you would like to call me, hopefully, we can discuss this further.

Kind regards
