"The staff were second to none"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Day Procedure Unit (Endoscopy)

(as a relative),

My Dad recently went for a colonoscopy at Daisy Hill hospital...his first ever time in a hospital setting - he is in his 70s - so to say he was nervous was an understatement.

The staff from start to finish were second to none in reassuring and chatting away to him throughout the process. Special thanks to Darryl (doctor) and Niamh (nurse). Oh, and he loved the tea and toast after!

I myself work in the health service and know how underappreciated and undervalued we can feel about our jobs and service we try and provide in today's climate, but I just want to reiterate how lovely the staff were in the endoscopy day procedure unit! Keep up the good work you all do, it didn’t go unnoticed.
