"Midwife is so approachable, kind and non-judgemental"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care)

(as the patient),

I fell pregnant with my first child last October and was referred to the Aberdeen Team Violet midwife unit for care from 6 weeks gestation to 10 days postpartum.

I was assigned Ksusha as my midwife and I cannot stress more how amazing she was throughout my pregnancy. She is so approachable, kind and non-judgemental, and was always ready to answer (or research the answer to!) any questions I had, be it about pregnancy or when the baby arrived.

She helped me through some anxious spots and made the whole process as enjoyable as a first pregnancy can be! I genuinely cried when we said goodbye at our last appointment when my baby boy was 10 days old :(

There were a few appointments which were picked up by other members of Ksusha’s team when Ksusha was unavailable, and I had an equally great experience with the other community midwifes too.

All in all, can’t fault the team at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital enough!

Good Afternoon mercuryqf75,

Congratualtions on the birth of your baby and thankyou for taking the time to post this feedback.

I am so glad that Ksusha was able to have such a postive impact on your pregnancy experience. I will ensure your feedback is shared with Ksusha and the rest of Team Violet.
