"There are no parking slots available"

About: Renal Service / Renal Outpatients Department

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I found the parking at Daisy Hill Hospital is awful as there are no parkings slots available for dialysis patients.

Good afternoon

I am Joan the clinical sister in the renal unit, and I fully understand your frustration of the parking facilities for the renal unit.

Unfortunately this is a subject has been approached many times, and even though there has been promises to look into this issue it has never been resolved.

A complaint has been made formally by another patient and this has been escalated to senior management, so I am hopeful that this issue will be dealt with, and we will have a positive outcome for the dialysis patients.

Thank you for taking the time to complete care opinion as we the staff in dialysis unit want to make the dialysis journey as comfortable and safe as possible for our patients.

Regards

Joan
