About: Maternity care / Midwife Led Unit

(as the patient),

I would like to send this message in to thank Alana my midwife who delivered our baby girl and to thank Laura the MCA who took care of us the day after birth and carried out checks and observations on baby.

Alana and Laura are just absolutely amazing at what they do and I am so grateful to have had Alana through labour and birth. She listened to all my choices, supported me, nothing was too much for her and she really helped me through it.

Both ladies are so kind and compassionate and in the right job for sure. Thank you again to Alana, Laura and all at the midwife led unit, Victoria Hospital.

HI Katieann,

Congratulations on the birth of your baby daughter. We trust you are all home and well having lots of snuggles.

We appreciate you taking the time to highlight the care and support you received within the Midwife Led Unit in labour, birth and in the postnatal period. Our Maternity care assistants bring so much to our team we are so thankful to work with them in ensuring the care our women and their families need.

I will ensure your message is shared with the individuals and all the team.
