"Virtual Ward care was second to none"

I suffered from acute dehydration and kidney failure caused by campylobacter jejuni bacteria. Once diagnosed at Kingsmill, was treated with a course of antibiotics, and released home under the direct supervision of the Virtual Ward Service.

Received immediate, thorough and comprehensive initial assessment at home. The standard of care was second to none! A home visit each morning, followed by an afternoon telephone update and check up.

All contacts I received from several team members were equally as helpful and caring. Special mention to Claudia who was outstanding in all my contacts with her including obtaining necessary blood samples from my notoriously difficult veins.
