"Thanks for being available"

I want to say a massive thanks to the paediatric nurse and the GP who saw my son and I when he was unwell. I was so worried about him and thought that I should be giving him the antibiotics just in case. But both clinicians were so thorough that I felt really reassured that it should resolve by itself and save him all the side effects from the antibiotics, as well as the long term harms on his microbiome.

As a doctor myself I have learnt from your care and communication. I hope I can use these skills myself.

I was even more grateful that in these pressed times, we were still seen within a few hours of calling on 2 occasions.

Thanks so much for being there for us when we needed you.
