"The carers' cafe"

About: St Andrew's Hospice (Lanarkshire) / Support Services

(as a service user),

I have been attending the carers cafe for a long time. It is a wonderful place for for carers to relax.

We get well & truly spoiled I get complimentary therapy & scones evey week. You can also talk to the staff if you need help with a problem. They go so far to assist you with any problems.

Dear violetxb89,

Thank you very much for taking time to write such a positive comment about the service that you receive from us here at St Andrew's Hospice. It is good to hear that you get the opportunity to relax a little when you come to carer's cafe and that you find the therapies that you access beneficial.

Our staff will be so pleased to hear that you find them helpful and that they are there to listen to you when you need them to. As a carer you provide such a vital role and if we can support you in any way then we are delighted to do so.

It is very important to us to care for each carer that goes through so much along side the person who is ill. Your feedback as a carer helps us to continue to offer support that is truly helpful. We welcome any ideas that you may have that would help yourself and others more,

Kindest regards,

Margaret
