"The report took months to be sent to be sent to my GP"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

The reception was not friendly as I arrived for my DEXA Bone scan at Nottingham City Hospital. I object to being told by the lady and the technician to 'put my bits down'. I consider my shopping bag and coat are not bit! Can staff have more respect for our belongings please?

Scan proceeded Ok and told report would be at GP in a few weeks.

Months passed! The report took four months to be sent to my GP. I wonder if this is a record. They might be short of staff, but to wait this long for news of osteoporosis, which needed, as far as I am concerned treatment starting quickly it was much too long
