"Why don't they ever answer the phone?"

I began calling today at 14:43, so not a peak call time.

7 minutes and 16 unanswered calls later I give up. Looking back through my call history and its been like this for over a year now and almost impossible to get through to them on the phone. However, every time I walk in there are always three people working behind reception and rarely a queue or any of them on the phone.

What's the point? Why can't we book our own appointments online now, it's 2024 and it doesn't require anyone to answer a phone...or ignore a constantly ringing phone.

I'll now have to drive 20 minutes down there to go in, find that there's no queue, none of them on the phone and get my appointment instantly. Please just answer the phone!
